"Invest in Shenzhen, Build a Winning Future”—China-Taiwan Life Health Industry Experience Sharing Conference (Taipei) Is Successfully Held
On the afternoon of June 1, the China-Taiwan Life Health Industry ExperienceSharing Conference was successfully held at NTUH International Convention Center, Taipei. More than 100 people attended the event, including Sufin Siluko, Chairman of the Healthcare Industry Development Association Across the Strait, Johnsee Lee, Chairman of the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization, Glibert Liu, General Manager of the healthcare unit of Foxconn, Peter Chiu, General Manager of Detekt Technology, Liang Huang-chien, General Manager of Wiltrom Medical, and Chen, Hong-Ming, Chairman of MCHC Center, as well as representatives from local businesses and institutions.
At the activity, Invest Shenzhen introduced representatives to Shenzhen’s business environment, and in particular elaborated on Shenzhen’s policies in support of talent recruitment and emerging/future industries. Shenzhen has instituted a package of support policies in recent years to boost industrial development and enhance enterprise competitiveness. The Development and Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality detailed the development of biology and life health industries in Shenzhen and relevant support policies. The Science and Technology Innovation Committee of Shenzhen Municipality introduced support policies on high-level talent recruitment and technological innovation. The Dapeng New District elaborated on development of the International Bio Valley. Guests at the conference mentioned that Taipei is home to top universities and an incubator for many starts-up companies. National Taiwan University and National Taipei University of Technology have quality education and academic resources. The delegation from Shenzhen shared a lot of their experience in achieving rapid development in Shenzhen and providing opportunities and platforms for compatriots in Taiwan to start up businesses and develop in Shenzhen. After the conference was held, some businesses and individuals expressed great interest in visiting and developing in Shenzhen, and some projects are already underway.
