Invest Shenzhen Deputy Director Meets with Delegation Led by the Head of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences
Jia Changsheng, Deputy Director of Invest Shenzhen, met with a delegation led by Ouyang Zhiyun, the Director and the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, on August 27 and held in-depth discussions about setting up an ecological big data center and related organizations in Shenzhen. Deputy Director Jia said that the Eco-Environmental Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is very welcome to set up organizations in Shenzhen and that he hoped the city's advantages in technology research and development, innovation culture and market dominance could be leveraged to find opportunities for the future growth of the Eco-Environmental Research Center in the big data and artificial intelligence industries. Invest Shenzhen will actively assist in the establishment of the institution and attracting high-end teams from home and abroad.
The Eco-Environmental Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences was established in 1975 and is the first national scientific research institution to conduct comprehensive research into ecological and environmental issues. It has more than 480 employees including 5 academicians, 3 academicians from the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World and more than 50 outstanding scientists who have won the title of "Outstanding Youth" and are from the "Hundred Talents Program". It has 13 laboratories (institutions) including 3 national key laboratories, 2 national engineering laboratories and 2 key laboratories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
